Why Rimgard
The purpose of a rim lock is to deter and make it difficult enough to make it not worth the trouble to steal the wheel.
In an actual wheel theft situation, "in the field" as we say, we know that our locks bring peace of mind to their owners and that we are offering the most superior solutions on the market when all factors are considered.
We have the best test results from SSF/SBSC and are the only certified lock. In addition, there is not yet a single documented theft of wheels protected with Rimgard.
That's what we're leaning towards. Nothing else.
One bolt or all five?
Our five-spoke solution has taken us a long way, but we couldn't be satisfied when there were still many people who couldn't secure their rims from theft with Rimgard.
We have two unbeatable solutions and superior theft protection can thus be offered to many more.

A lock bolt with 66,000 combinations is not a locking bolt, it is a rim lock. You can call locking bolts whatever you want, we just call them bolts.

A fantastic anti-theft device that is also equipped for special circumstances. Protects not only against theft but also against sabotage.
One and Original
Rimgard ONE replaces a wheel screw but is otherwise almost invisible. You get peace of mind and avoid design compromises. And, perhaps best of all, it fits all rims.
The five-armed Original covers all bolts and thus also protects against sabotage, which unfortunately is a necessary security for some.

Both of our solutions are sealed with our own modified Desmo+ lock from ASSA ABLOY. There is only one set of keys for all cylinders - yours.

The modules are powder coated with the same type of paint used for rims. The finish is impeccable.

Yes Rimgard has been tested by a number of international institutes and is the only rim lock approved according to SSF's standard in the highest security class, class 3.
Can the lock be worshipped
YouTube is full of clips of incredibly skilled lock worshipers, they are impressive to say the least.
But remember that their skill is also at such a level that they compete in official WCs and practice their skills thereafter.
We think even they would find it a challenge to worship the lock in the field within a reasonable time. Without chair, work lighting, vise, peace and quiet.
Our lock cylinder is manufactured from ASSA ABLOY, a Desmo+ that is extremely resistant to manipulation and worship, also modified for our purpose.
Can the lock be drilled?
Don't forget that thieves want to be quick and discreet.
With enough time and the right tools, anything can be drilled.
Drilling our lock takes a long time and makes a lot of noise, it is not a quick and discreet method of stealing something on the street.
Can you use a crowbar?
Again, a thief wants to be quick and discreet.
When Rimgard is installed according to instructions, it will be very difficult to pry the module off with a crowbar, take a long time and cause extensive damage to the rim.
